Many Canadian employers include postpartum doula care in their extended health benefits.
Many Canadians have extended health benefit plans through their employer that include postpartum doula services, lactation consultants, and newborn care specialists. A.M.A provides official receipts for all packages so you can submit for reimbursement.
We provide official itemised receipts after every visit — formatted for insurance submission to your benefits provider.
Step 1 — Log into your employee benefits portal and search for "paramedical services," "doula," or "newborn care."
Step 2 — Call your benefits provider and ask: "Does my plan cover postpartum doula services?"
Step 3 — Book your A.M.A package. We send an official receipt after each visit for you to submit.
Step 4 — Submit your claim. Most providers process within 5 to 10 business days.
